Hamour Marine Solutions Pvt. Ltd. successfully tested its first electric speed boat at the Indian Naval Watermanship Training Centre (INWTC), Gateway of India, Mumbai, marking a milestone in India’s move toward sustainable marine transport.

Conducted in open sea water conditions, the trials demonstrated the vessel’s silent operation, zero emissions, and minimal wake, proving its suitability for eco-sensitive tourism, coastal patrols, and high-speed passenger services.

Key advantages included significantly lower operating costs, reduced noise pollution, easy maintenance, and solar/hybrid charging compatibility. Hamour also showcased its retrofit technology, enabling diesel and petrol boats to be converted to electric propulsion — strengthening its role in India’s green maritime transition.
